Men’s
Health

Improving men’s health is a top priority at Windmill Hill Medical. From an early age, men experience more illness, more accidents, and have a shorter lifespan than women. Men are also four times more likely than women to take their own lives, with an average of five men dying by suicide each day. Accidents, cancer, and heart disease are the leading causes of death among men. Our doctors understand that prevention is key to improving men’s health outcomes. Given that men tend to visit doctors less frequently than women, our GPs encourage men to schedule regular check-ups.

Our Preventative Health (Well Man Check up’s) include:

  • Cardiovascular Risk identification, assessment, and reduction
  • Diabetes Risk identification and reduction
  • Prostate Cancer Screening – should you?
  • Lower urinary tract symptom assessment
    (download the Prostate Symptom Questionnaire)
  • Bowel Cancer early detection strategies
  • Skin cancer check
  • Mental health check up
